This brick townhouse was built ca. 1890. During that era it was the home of Eleanor Faulding Brant, a widow. She lived here with her two unmarried daughters Emma and Lillian. To help maintain this house, the two sisters worked as a dressmaker (Emma) and a schoolteacher (Lillian).
The house features a bracketed cornice, pedimented dormers, a paneled wooden door with fanlight, and segmental arched lintels.
